Silver-purple hair obscured startling aquamarine eyes that had seen both sides of Kingdom Hearts and been released by the same element. The rest angled down his back or acted as arrows, pointing to pronounced cheekbones and an easy grin. His broad chest slimmed down to a refined abdomen, strength confined in the lean curves of his defiantly toned body, everything hidden beneath a zipped turtleneck and a shorter white and yellow vest. Navy trousers belted low on hips and folded over light sneakers. Through all of this he remained upbeat, but fragile somehow.

He's worn several outfits over the course of his adventures while separated from his friends. He likes to contrast, but subtly somehow, sticking to yellow and navy. Like him, his clothes illustrate both light and dark; the main features tend to be zippers and straps, and cling tightly to his figure.

for power

While Sora made new friends and crusaded against the world, Riku worked behind the scenes, at first to dismantle the Keymaster and then to aid him. His views switched from revenge to redemption when his best friend freed him from the control of darkness. He continued to struggle with his own demons throughout Castle Oblivion and Sora's year-long sleep.

This fight delivered him to DiZ, a secret benefactor to the fight between light, dark, and twilight. He became an ally, but only because it would help Sora. Riku lost a bit of himself in order to deliver Sora's other half to the vengeful sage, and since he'd assumed the form of his (and Sora's) greatest enemy, he was afraid he could never return to the islands and his normal life.

But great things await those who will give their all to reach for them, and as Riku watches his best friend fight for him from the shadows, the greater burden of the truth falls upon him.

This layout was made entirely by Saffire using a screenshot from Deep Dive. It was built in Dreamweaver, and all the graphics were done in Adobe Photoshop 7, except the key, which was edited from the key sprite in KH: Chain of Memories.
